After a conversation with a friend, I decided to plan a pastry table for a Les Amis+Marius (because I can’t leave out Pontmercy, I just can’t) themed tea party. Meaning, each guy would be represented by one particular pastry/cookie/cake/etc., I was going to look up for recipes and organize everything in a post. So, this is what I came up with. You can find the reasons why I chose each item on the Polyvore set and the link to the recipie there too or in the [x] below:
Enjolras - Red Velvet Cupcake [x] | Combeferre - Tiramisu [x] | Courfeyrac - Nutella Swiss Roll [x] | Jehan - Lavender Macarons [x] | Grantaire - Rum Cake [x] | Bahorel - Dark Chocolate Cake [x] | Joly - Fruit Pastry Cake [x] | Bossuet - Fortune Cookies [x] | Feuilly - Cherry Filled Paczki [x] | Marius - Strawberry Souffle [x]

My current chocolate “programme”:
- front row, left side: SherlockSwirls - Shell of dark chocolate, Ginger & Vanilla filling
- front row, right side: NEWNEWNEW!!! Domes of Erebor - Shell of dark chocolate, Cranberry & Mead filling
- back row, left side: JohnBons - Orange-y Chocolate truffles
- back row, right side: The Woman’s Kiss - shell of white chocolate, Raspberry & Gin filling
In this picture, the Domes of Erebor are also decorated with a little bit of edible gold leaf (yes, I actually bought gold leaf for my chocolates), which is not their regular appearance, but I could do it easily for any orders … considering a little additional charge, of course.
Jesus take the wheel.
I think I’m crying
